Radical repositioning

On an international level the KBS market in Norway is both advanced and highly developed, defined by its strong and distinct concepts. 7-Eleven was in danger of falling behind, compared to their competitors, if nothing was done with the product-range, concept and customer experience. Grid Design developed a completely new interior and exterior concept for 7-Eleven Scandinavia and brought a modern version of the tired, old kiosk to the Scandinavian world. We created a new colour profile, we worked with positioning, material planning and design, custom furniture, and technical solution of the façade / signage.

The new 7-Eleven opened in Oslo with success and it clearly increased the sales. It was then taken to Sweden, Denmark and on to Asia. The concept is the foundation for today’s refined concept witch you can see, for example, at Shell stations. Grid Design has given the world’s largest kiosk chain a good product to grow with.
