“If you owe the bank enough money, you own it”

A completely new retail format was launched first in Stavanger, and now the bank rolls out their second branch with the new format in Haugesund, February 2011. Grid Design is responsible for all design for both of the branches.

Sparebanken Vest wants to be in the frontline when it comes to meeting the needs of future bank customers. This means both the physical meeting with the customer in the bank as well as the total experience and the relationship the public has to the brand Sparebanken Vest as a whole. Our assignment is to let this ambition materialise through design and branch development.

Sparebanken Vest is one of the country’s largest banks, with its head office in Bergen. The bank serves the private market, the business community and the public sector in the provinces of Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane and Rogaland.

Sparebanken Vest wants to be cutting edge when it comes to meeting the needs of future bank customers. The Norwegian Design Council agreed that this was achieved and gave the Award for Design Excellence to Sparebanken Vest and Grid Design in 2008.
