Design with wet-look!

The design program for the new water-park has been developed in the spirit of Dyreparken (the animal park), which means that it is lush and playful and highlights the core of the offer in a visually attractive way. Badelandets logo is in a “diamond” version that is well suited to stand beside the logo of Dyreparken, which is especially important since the water-park and the animal-park often appear together in the campaign context, and in the booking system.

Fonts are harmonized with Dyreparken while the colour palette is unique to Badelandet and has a broad application on slides and pools, as well as on signs and printed material. Graphic water figures such as moray eel, octopus and sharks are along with illustrative design elements forming the basis to communicate the experience of being in and under water to the greatest extent possible.

Badelandet opens 25th of June this year and is Kristiansand Dyrepark’s largest single investment ever. Grid Design made the design program last autumn and Dot Grid developed the website in the beginning of 2010.
