NSO – the new student organization

On the 1.st of July 2010 the Norwegian Student Union (NSU) and the Norwegian Association of Students (StL) were merged into a large and strong organization. The new student organization will represent the vast majority of students (about 200 000) on private and public colleges and universities in Norway.
Our task was to develop a new design program that will contribute to transparency and recognition of the new organization. We developed a modern and strong logo of the organization’s short form, NSO. The somewhat special green colour stands out from the crowd and, along with the typographical style, contribute to recognition on websites and message boards across the country.

In addition, we developed a pattern and a talk bubble that represents the organization’s external and proactive role in influencing politicians and decision makers, and to motivate students through active information and disseminated activities.

NSO will through a modern and professional design promote their most important cases on behalf of the students in Norway.

We are currently working on the new website for NSO which will be ready for launch in mid-January 2011.
