Open communication

Grid Design has been responsible for interior design and planning in the central parts of the new premises, called The Hub. The Hub is a desk environment, meeting- and monitoring centre for telephone networks. The project was done in close collaboration with a-lab, Confidon, WORK and internal work-groups.

It has been exciting to work with the design of such a distinctive and futuristic architecture. “The Portal building” is central to the development of IT Fornebu as an international centre of knowledge. Designed by the architectural firm a-lab, “The Portal building” is spectacular and is a result of the owner closely monitoring the implementation phase making sure his intentions and professionalism would be visible in the architecture.  See the last image taken by photographer Luis Fonseca, a-lab.
