The logo has been refreshed, building on Orkla’s long tradition as an industrial giant. The design programme was developed to broadly communicate across cultural and geographical borders. Special focus on dynamism represented by the cog-element, means that this element is central to Orkla’s visual communication. The brown bear is an Orkla mascot representing strength and perseverance, among others. Grid Design created new graphics incorporating the bear, which is now used throughout Orkla’s Visual Identity.
As one of the biggest and most professional branded goods organisations in the country, Orkla ASA has taken a firm grip of its own visual profile as holding company, business developer and stock market player. The new design programme communicates the company’s goals and values to target groups such as the company’s own employees, owners, business partners and the financial community.
